My fish refuses to eat and seems to have SBD

Hey, so for the longest time, my fish refused to eat. I'm feeding it pellets and it used to eat it just fine. but for some reason, it just stopped. It has now lost alot of its color. It also sometimes floats on it's side which I think is swim bladder disorder. I've read about it and I'm suppose to fast it for 24-48 hours and then feed it a soften pea, however it doesn't eat all together. what could I do to get my fish back into a healthier state? It also doesn't swim that often but when it does, it jolts around like crazy. thanks for the help.
