2g Water Changes

I know its been posted before but I cant seem to find it, how often do you need to do water changes in a 2g.I am going to try a rescue mission at walmart. I want to buy the saddest looking betta there that isnt already dead and see if I can make a "rags to riches" story out of him. Also what is the easiest way to do changes it seems like they would get rather mad getting flopped back and forth everyday to change its water.

Well, as was suggested by drama, I do a 100% change every 3 days (about twice a week) in my 1/2 gallon.
You might be okay with 50% and 100% once a week. Don't hold me to that though, you might get better answers from others! :)
I hope your venture works out and you have a happy healthy Betta in the future!

I do 100% water changes on quart jars and 100% every 5-6 days on half gallon and a 100% water change on gallon jars once a week.

Yeah, on my gallon tank I change the water once a week, so for your 2 gallon I suppose you could wait for like a week and a half, or do 50% changes in between

Ok I guess Ill just do it like once a week if I get one, its like actually like 1.8g its really weird. But I went up there to look for one, they were all female and I really wanted a male. The only male there was an orange/blue veiltail and to tell the truth I really dont like veiltails, but I might go back and pick him up anyway.

Come to my Walmart; there's tons of half-dead Bettas there, unfortunately. I came across them last night and they were all sitting in an inch of unclean, dingy water. :(
I'm still in my neck brace, or else I'd have gotten up and changed them myself!

Mine were all in relatively clean water, you could tell from their faces that it wasnt up to par but there werent any big clumps of poo/dirt floating around.

No, these poor guys were swimming in their poo, fungus and all other sorts of junk. One of the fish was a pretty yellow VT, but its water was literally BROWN and hard to see through.
