I heard they were really good! I just wish I could get them from petstore instead of ordering! A $3 product with $8 shipping stinks!!! lol.

That's crazy! I figured if I had to order it I would wait and add some other things to the purchase. I found it on a few websites but all the shipping was pretty much the same unfortunately.

Yeah, it IS crazy but I didn't have any other choice except go with a heater that I wouldn't be happy with.

I completely understand! No need in buying something you'll have to replace, ends up costing more anyways!

The Gel Tek products are fantastic. As MrVampire said they pack some serious muscle. The Maracyn products are is mid level antibiotic and bettafix and other more holistic medicine are best for mild cases.

I'm a huge fan of the holistic approach. anytime i've had a sick fish unless it is a scaleless fish I always begin with a salt bath then return them to a cleaned tank with either a light dose of bettafix (for anabantids) or melafix for other fish as a preventive for the illness spreading. I have had great success with this, but some things are far to strong for the holistic approach, thats where the stronger meds come in ans Gel Tek is as good as they come.

My fish never ate it. In my cases it dissolved and still treated.

Definately do!

My PetCo carries them and they said that they use it with their sick fish (they also reccomend BettaFix). It's a great product.

Petsmart doesn't carry it so I'll probably have to order it. I doubt Feeders Supply has it either. Thanks for reccommending it!
