Good info, Vikki. I think that may be what my Oscar has. I won't be able to treat him until I get home.

Yeah, I've heard that this stuff I'm using now will help, but it's mainly bacterial...so if you think any of your bettas have it, I would get something for bacteria. I didn't settle with columnaris until today...I did more and more research and it seems the best. So if this medicine doesn't work, then I'm getting bacterial meds. 50 minutes and it's time for their second dose of meds. Oh and, I relized today that Fishy still has finrot. Ugh. So he's in my 1 gallon being treated. So now everyone has something wrong except for Aqua. Geez.

I just checked in with my fish sitter. All are ok except Oscar. He won't last until I get home. Poor thing! I treated him before leaving and I don't think there is anything more anyone can do for him. Oh, well, I'll have a reason to get a new one when I get home.

I think I'll be buying some Jungle Lifeguard and some Gel Tek meds.

Well I took a look at Flair tonight when I got home. His two little spots aren't as bright as they were when I originally posted. I am going with the idea (for now) that it was the plant. Because he looks completely normal other than those two spots.

That is really great info Vicki. If these spots get worse (or spread) I am going to try your treatment that you suggested.

Thanks ifish. I'm certainly fascinated at his personality. It's like a little person or something. I feel like he understands what I am saying lol.
