In case you ever have a non adjustable filter, get some filter sponge and put it in the intake tube, you can also make a diffuser on the outlet out of a soda/water bottle.

thank u!

do i leave the filter on 24/7? and how often do i change the water now?
its gunna be a mission changing the water 100% since i cant carry the tank its too heavy lol before this one i had a lil 1/2 gallon...much easier but my betta seems to love his new home.

I don't leave my filter on 24/7 but, I have a ten gallon. I turn mine on during the day and turn off during the night.

If the fin rot gets really bad, put him back in the half gallon and do the water changes everyday, 100% with salt. It is much easier. Conserves water too.
