Greedy guppies

I have another q.

I bought fish flakes, special betta food and also the round pellets for my pleco. I was told that I should give flakes once every day, betta food 2 times a week and half a pleco tablet once/twice a week. However, I noticed that the betta, loach and asian glass fish get absolutely nothing from the flakes (the guppies whizz around and steal it all). The guppies even seem to eat the betta food which the shop told me would be too big for them and then they go after the pleco's tablet and eat it too. (I noticed Pleco lying on top of his pellet this morning but the guppies nipped at him!) They're very greedy but Im wondering...can you over feed a guppy? Will the betta, loach and glass fish be okay if the guppies steal most of the food? How can I ensure they all get fed?

Sorry but bettas should be offered their food once a day. PetCo says that because at cool tempertatures the fish slow down and don't need to much food.

Plecos should be fed once a day. I would add a second tablet if the guppies steal it.

And if the betta dosen't get any food you should put him in a jar of his own.
