As a breeder you'll eventually expand from one spawning tank and one growout tanks to several tanks.
Here's some tips on setting up a fishroom :)
1. Decide on how many tanks you want. You'll need two tanks for each spawn.
2. See how much space you have and decide on how many tanks you can fit in the room (but also enough room for you to walk ;) ).
3. Remeber you'll need to place the tanks in certain places (near electrical outlets).
4. You'll need a wall (or a few) for hundreds of jars.
Important fishroom rule: Never have more than you need in your fish room. And keep the room clean...lose a microworm culture your TOAST (and so are your fry).
Since I've joined this forum I've expanded my fish room:
Spawning tanks:
2 gallon
16 gallon
10 gallon
5.5 gallon
(all have heating and filtration)
Growout tanks:
30 gallon
20 gallon
20 gallon
10 gallon (for small spawns).
Hope this helps if you want to setup a fish room.
