I have my betta in a tank with some white clouds, they're all cool with each other. Last night I found my betta spending a long time in the cave-more than 10 mins-without going up for air. I thought maybe he's stressed cuz some of the clouds were dying. I took him out and put him in his own little tank overnight/all day today. I got the big tank all set up again for him and his buddies and acclimated him to the tank. I just put him back in and now he's back at the bottom hiding.
The water temp is quite warm because it is roasting in the house. The clouds are doing fine ripping around like nothing. Is there a safe way to lower the temp of the water a few degrees?
Yes I have a filter and yes I use water conditioner. No need for a heater right now here. The temp of the water is 84F.
Any ideas/thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.
