20gal Community???

So I'm going to be down to 2 bettas, a small female and a male crowntail, Miclo is being adopted to a friend who just lost their fish.

So right now i have my 20 gal divided twice for three fishies, but one will be leaving us, and my little female is always jumping the dividers and gets into the males sides, i would put her back to her side as soon as i saw her but one day i decided to let her stay and see what happens since the guys really dont mind her. And she does fine, like she goes over and visits with them for a little bit then hops back over to her side again LOL, they never try to attack her or anything.

My question is if you all think they, lil female and male crowntail, will be okay together in the 20 gal without any dividers, and i wanted to add some cories or ottos, as i read here that they do okay with bettas...... any advise????

I really think it would be better to keep them divided. They may be fine right now but you may wake up one morning to a disaster. I think a 20 gallon would be plenty big enough for some otos or cories.

It might work, I saw a video on youtube with this girl who had a female and male betta living together for 2 years, so it might work. If so, just monitor them really closely!

Well i was thinking also i could seperate the male by only removing one divider, that would leave about 13 gals for the female and some other ones....

That would work. You could put the female with some cories or otos.

About how many of the cories or otos can be in there, also how the feeding time work, do they eat the betta pellets or will they get something else?

I would get 6. I don't know about feeding. You'd have to ask someone who has cories or otos. I think AngelicScars has otos and Fishyinpa has cories but hers are in a tank by themselves.
