Gorgon see's things differently from the other little fishies:/

So my red Giant CT Gorgon seems to be having issues lately. He is about 6 months old and is about 5-6 cm long. I've noticed that he has begun to float sideways and even sometimes going completely upside down leaving his belly exposed at the surface. His eating habits are as normal and his colors are still vibrantly red. I originally had him in a ten gallon filtered tank due to his size but when he started floating weird, I switched him to a 5 gallon still water tank, just in case the filter was maybe bothering him or something. He doesn't seem as panicked about floating upside down now but i'm still worried. He often stays upside down or on his side for longer than 15 minutes and seems to have trouble floating completely upright.please help me figure this out:(

Swim bladder.

Fast him for about a week and see if he gets better.

Feeding daphnia might help also.

Ooh, that's why all my tetra's died. They had swim bladder :l
We used to have like 20, but overtime they died, and most of them got swim bladder.
The people at the petstore just said that it was from old age, and they lose their balance when they're old :l
At least now my betta has the whole 30 gallon tank all to himseld ;)

Thanks guys, I've never really encountered this situation before. After watching him for awhile he has begun stabilizing himself using his plant in the corner of his tank, I guess at least he's working with the problem:)
