AUGH I FEEL LIKE SUCH A BAD FISH MOMMY.
So I had to take a personal trip out of state and, due to unforeseen circumstances, stayed longer than I wanted. I left Tian-Tian and Taco in the care of my mother to feed. I only expected to be out of state for 3 days.
While my mother did great with feeding them (maybe too great; they both look a bit overfed), their water was not changed. This was a failure on my part. I somehow expected I'd be back sooner in my state to take care of them but I was not (and I didn't trust my mother to change their water since she doesn't know how).
I came home, relieved, to find both fish were quite alive and relatively well. However, Tian-Tian's water was SIGNIFICANTLY CLOUDY and gross, while Taco's tank was relatively clean, save for the usual gunk at the bottom from his feces (this, by the way utterly confused me. Thoughts?).
I changed their tanks 100% the moment I found them. They seem to be doing okay and I haven't seen any signs of fungus or ich on either fish. Still, I'm keeping a sharp eye on 'em.
Ugh, I feel like such a bad mommy to them! That is the last time I stay out of state that long!! jdkaslfj;kfffff!

But it couldn't be helped. Things happen.
Just had to vent. Thanks for listening.
