Aquarisol for Velvet??

My poor little halfmoon betta has velvet, and I would like to know if anyone has used Aqaurislol to treat this?

Since the instructions say to add 12 drops/10 gallons, I added 1 drop since Pip is in a 1 gallon tank, but I don't know if that will be enough...it just doesn't seem enough to make a impact. I didn't want to add 2 drops for fear of him reacting badly since it is composed of copper sulfate.

Anyways, it says to add it daily until the fish is cured, but should I resume my normal schedule for water changes, or should I change his water every 4 days...I don't want a large accumulation of the copper

I read on Healthybetta.com to use 2 drops per gallon until the illness is gone.

Ok, but now since I'm medicating, how frequently should I do wc's? The package doesn't say anything about it, just to add the drops until the fish is cured.

I would just keep up with my regular water changes since it doesn't specify otherwise.
