Question So I was wondering...

For AP Biology, I have to keep a male and female Betta fish for a semester and I have to observe them. So today I got my first two Betta fish, ones a male and the other a female. I only have one large tank (15 gallons) and I want to put both of them into the same tank. The only problem is that I don't want to breed them and i dont want them to kill each other. So any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to FishForum. You can put them in the same tank with a divider in it. They'd have 7.5 gallons apiece if you have a 15 gallon tank. Just make sure the divider is secure and one can't get to the other. You can either buy a divider or make your own.

Yup. What drama said lol. Divider is best. DO NOT put them together.
