Odd, the female usually eats the eggs. If you haven't done so already, you should separate them. If you would like to attempt to raise the fry, keep the male with the eggs. He is the one that tends to the nest.

And wow! I've read so many failed attempts at breeding and you successfully did it all on accident! :)
Raising fry is a tough job, so if you dump the eggs before they hatch it would be perfectly okay. Don't feel bad about doing it. Hope that helps!
