I used Betta revive antibiotics which is also antifungal and antiparasitic got some regrowth after his full coarse of treatment along with salt baths just to have it reverse yet again after treatment stopped.
I am now using melafix but can't say just yet how well it is working. however if you choose to use melafix you will need an eye dropper to dose correctly. In a 1 gallon tank put in 10 drops. I am doing it with Rusty now and he is doing great even on the 3rd day of treatment.
