Leaving for two weeks

I am leaving for two weeks to go travel England, and I'm curious on how to go about on taking care of my three bettas.
I have one betta in a 10 gallon, and two bettas in hospital tanks.
My mother will be feeing the fish while I'm gone, but she refuses to change water, or anything of that sort.
Should i put all three bettas into the plastic cups for two weeks? My mother also refuses to go upstairs, so I will have to relocate my bettas downstairs where she can easily feed them. What is the best way to go about this?

The plastic cups are smaller and therefore ammonia will build up faster in them. Id try to get a friend to do the water changes while you're gone because the bettas in the uncycled hospital tanks will need at least one 100% water change maybe a week into your trip (really they need one 50% and one 100% per week) but one 100% for them is a good compromise. If the 10 gallon is well established it SHOULD be fine without a water change in two weeks as long as you do a large one before you leave. I hate when parents are being difficult, especially if an animal is suffering bc of it

My mother said she would move the fish to another cup with water, if I had the extra cups with water already available.
