You could just get a critter keeper and use your decorations and such that you already have in the 2 gal but it would be better for viewing.

Thanks everyone!! I will get a critter keeper if it doesn't work out. I've been really wanting a female... I'm pet sitting my friends right now. Two beautiful little CTs. Now I'm hooked on females!!

My females are dorks..NO lie!! They do the dorkiest things. Like once I let my tanks water level get a little low and one jumped on top of the riser tube of the undergravel filter and slept there.

I love the girls too! its so sad that they aren't as popular as the guys because they arent seen as pretty. I want to eventually start up a sorority. I've been reading a TON of research, and think I could do it well.

I've been noticing the difference with my males, and my friends' females. Those females are QUICK!! When I had to clean their tanks the difference really showed! The males just let you scoop them out, whatever. The females weren't having any of it.
