Just great,fin rot now

So Smurfy still has a bit of fin rot, doesnt look like its getting any worse. I hope. Now I just looked at Pez and he has a torn tail. The tips look black,so I am assuming fin rot. After using medications on my other fish and losing them,I kinda dont want to do that again if I dont have to. What else can I do before I have to go that route?

Maybe just start with 5 salt baths a day to get rid of it. Keep the tank clean. I would do that for a few days and see how it goes before starting on the harsher meds.
Good luck!

neenjar suggested up to that much. Of course if your Betta freaks out from them, I wouldn't do that many.
Mine does fine with it, it just all depends on how they do with it.

I've been dealing with fin rot with Antubis for awhile now. I've done all kinds of treatments and things and nothing seems to work. I will say that it doesn't seem to be getting worse, it just doesn't seem to be getting better either.
Hopefully yours will clear up quickly! :)

Yeah I would do salt baths. I think the best meds to start with would be betta fix. If that doesn't work, then more serious meds. Good luck!

Yeah, Ember's is steadily getting worse. I'm doing salt baths and JFC then the next week or so betta fix, not working. I don't know what else to do. Neenjars package of JFE for me got lost. I'm trying my best though.
