I stopped into a little beat-up aquarium store near my house. I never even noticed it before. I needed some salt, and it was right there so I stopped and I'm so glad I did!
The place was dark and smelt weird. And when I first walked in, they were feeding some really gigantic fish some other fish. My initial thought was "This place is a dump, I'm not buying anything here." I started to leave but he stopped me and asked me what I needed. When I told him just aquarium salt, he asked a ton of questions about my fish, my tank, and what I was doing with the salt. Then he showed me a little corner in the far back of the store. The guy had probably 60 crowntails, some half moons, all in large vases and tanks with live plants (except the new ones he had just gotten that were still in baggies) some amazing colors. Tons of females. It was so cool. And it's seriously like a block from my house.
Only problem (for me anyways) is he's really overpriced.
