I fed my first betta Top Fin betta bites and he ate them ok when he could get to them but they wouldn't float and he'd just sit there and watch them go to the bottom.

LOL. I could imagine your betta staring at the pellet as it went down and then just going away like a little snobby thing :)

Flair would try it and spit it all out. Then it got to the point he'd go look at the pellets or fd bloodworms and then swim away.

lol After that I switched to Hikari bio gold. I like the fact that it floats. All my fish love it.Blue Bonnet didn't like it at first and I had to buy her several different things to make her happy! lol

Blue Bonnet was terribly finicky the first few weeks! lol I tried micro pellets, which she liked, then I tried flakes, which she ate but let half of them go to the bottom, then I tried Wardleys and she ate that. Then I mixed the Wardleys with the bio gold and she started eating both! Never had a problem with Nina or Makoto.
