Feng, that's not silly at all, planting herbs/plants that help other plants is called companion planting and can be really beneficial.

I've never grown veggies or fruit until this year when I planted 4 different types of raspberries in my yard. The plants were already started, but my soil is too dry and everything that had already sprouted on them died, but I'm getting some new growth from in the ground. So I probably won't have fruit this year. But hopefully I will next year.

I have a ton of house plants, though. Orchids, spider plants, chinese evergreens, pothos...

I just have the poinsettia and the money tree. I kill everything else! lol

My fiance has a Napales cactus, a jade tree, an aloe that decided to be a tree and we had to cut back, and some random cactus... actually, I remembered that I stole his jade tree and aloe from him lol
