I would try some Maracyn or Maracyn 2. You can get it at most petstores like Petco or Petsmart. Walmart might have it, too.

i have maracyn 2 and just put a little bit of the package in the water because he is in a small bowl when should it show signs of it working?

This dosage is for small bowls. For one round dissolve one tablet in 10 teaspoons of water. For first day, add 2 teaspoons of concentrated mixture per 1 gallon of water. For days 2-5 add 1 teaspoon of the concentrate per gallon of water. I have no idea how long it will take to work. I've never used it before. I got the dasage info from Healthybetta.com. I hope this helps!

but its not in tablet form, its in a powder form, and on the box its says to use 2 packets per 10 gallons on the first day, and on the 2-5 days to use 1 packet, and he isnt even in 1 gallon of water, i dont have anymore containers to put him in but like a 2 liters of water

I have no idea how to do the dosage in a powder form. A half a packet would be 2.5 gallons. I'm not good in math. lol A 4th would be a little over a gallon. I don't know.

Uh. I hate this disease. I have a bowl similar tot hat one and every fish that goes in it gets it. Hope he gets better!!!

And maybe getting a bigger jar would help ;)
