Fin Rock Treatment?

Ive got Desmond quarentined to a smaller bowl so i can change his water daily, i put in a chunk of the Jungle Fungus Cleaner yesterday. When i change the water later should I put another chunk in there? Or just clean water, how often do I administer the medication.

Never heard of what you're using. So I dunno.

I think you mean "Fin Rot", not fin rock.

I would wait and see if the medicine helps any, before adding more. He may just have torn a fin, and medicine will just hurt him. Or its already fixed it. Just wait a bit, though changing the water is a good idea, after the medicine works for awhile. Clean water helps a LOT.

If you are dosing for fin rot then the JFC needs to be in for 4 days. If you need to do daily water changes you will have to put the meds back in each time the water is replaced.

If he's in a small container you don't want ammonia building up ...this would just defeat the purpose of the meds. What I meant was that you can still do daily water changes, just keep adding a new dose of meds each full water change for 4 days. After 4 days of this (full water change and correct amount of meds added) you will be done with one cycle of the meds. Then you'll only have to continue if he is still showing signs of fin rot.
