that didnt work either. they were all fine until I shut off the lights around 3 am. and when I woke up at 9 the poor betta had been picked on by the rainbows. a torn backfin and he is now recuperating in a 2 gallon bowl.

he really had loved the current. payday cant come soon enough. I'm considering now to get him (Roland) and Lancelot a 10 gallon to share ... two really beautiful boys... although having seen how roland had not cared about the rainbows before they ganged up on him ... I may consider trying the new tank with just one boy and some neons and cories.

really it's too sad when you see a good tank with a happy betta that has unhappy tank mates. I WONT advise anyone to buy a lot of different fish unless you have a multiple big tank home with room to put them when or if things dont work.

I already have tanks with cories and neons. they both are with my betta sorority and they all get along. but we know that boys and girls are different as well as each fish has it's unique personality to whether he or she will accept others.
