Question has anyone fed fry boiled egg yolk b4?

hiya i was just told by my pet shop that boiled egg yolk made into a paste with some water is a great source of protien for them??? any ideas guys????

I've never used it. But, I've heard that it can pollute the tank very fast, which is a really bad thing for a fry tank!!!

yea i did some research on it and i dont want to use it....i might on last resort if i ever need something but luckily my microworm turned up today....they dont need feeding till tommorow anyway :) thay are still hanging from the bubblenest at the moment
