having a bubble problem

I have had my betta for about three weeks now. I had my last betta for about four years so they are not new to me. However this problem is. I noticed about a week ago that in the curse of a few hours, usually overnight, a very large cluster of bubbles at the top of the bowl had formed.

I took a sample of the water to the vet and he said the PH was right and temp was right. My fish is exhibiting no signs of being sick. I don't understand what the bubble cluster is a sign/symptom of. I never experienced this with my other betta.

have any of you had this problem or know what it might be?

if its a male betta, its a bubble nest. they make them when they are happy (and also when they are ready to mate)

It's just a bubble nest. Males make them when they want to breed. Although, females can make them too. :)

Yeah don't worry lol. Almost all males do it.
