Low Light Plants?

Are there any types of plants that don't require lights other than what comes through a curtained window? I want to plant my three gallon kritter keeper, but I don't know how I would use an artificial light and still have the lid on at the same time.
Any ideas on what plants I could use, or even suggestions for lighting?

Thanks!

I use a clip on reading lamp on my critter keeper! It has a fluorescent bulb in it. I'll post pics in a minute!
