Finding uncommon colors

Hi! How do you guys find some of the uncommon betta colors like white, yellow, royal blue...ect...? Do you wait to luck out on one at your local pet store or do you order them on-line? Just wondering...

I got lucky with a yellow cus he was from my friend's college, so he was free. But I have seen at some of the nice aquarium stores (not necessarily petco petsmart etc.) that they have wider variety of colors.

Good luck with your search!

I've seen a good bit of yellow bettas at both Petsmart and Petco. Reds and Blues are the most common color in Bettas at Pet stores, so I see all kinds of blues there.

Petco has the more exotic tail types and colors for me. Every time I see a GREAT one I never have any room though :( Then when I go to get a new one there's usually none of the amazing ones left...just a little sad one that I end up rescuing lol.

I got a yellow head, some random coloured speckle and a white body from Petsmart today.
Took him because I didnt want the typical red or blue.
There was no crowntails left :(

The Petsmart here mostly has the typical red/blue veiltails (with a few red/blue crowntails). I had to go to petsstores in different malls to see different colours. There was a blue crowntail with yellow in his fins. ♥
