That's what I am hoping, I'm sure going from a tiny little bowl to a tank is quite the adjustment for a little fish. I'm thinking about downsizing his tank anyway, now that I know he is blind. I think it might be less stressful, what do you think?

That sounds like a good idea. Sorry if you already mentioned it, but how big is his tank right now?

5 gal. What do you think about a 2.5? Or should I maybe go even smaller? I have a couple 1 gallon bowls in the basement, but I always used them as temporary placements.

If you have both a 2.5 gal and a 1 gal I would try both. But considering he's blind, maybe 1 gal wouldn't be so bad. It's be much easier for him to get the food.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. He can't see anything so I don't think a small home would stress him out in fact it would probably be less stressful.
He's in the 5 now, I would have to go get a 2.5. So I think I'll try the 1 gal next water change, and see if that helps him find his food easier

If their's less water there's less space for the food to hide from him.:)
