10 gallon, what do you think?

If I'm able to buy the pair of girls and all goes well, I was thinking of adding some Black Neon tetras later on. About 5 or so.

Do you think it would be too many fish for a 10 gallon? I have a feeling that adding the tetras would be overstocking the tank. :/

That's what I was asking in my last topic. The pair are being sold in a small tank together and get along well, but I thought maybe they would harrass each other when i move them to a bigger tank.

If I get 2 or 3 more females, though, I won't get the tetras.

I wanted to do the same thing. Because I can get a setup 10 gal from walmart for like $50. Just need the heater... So would 5 be a good number?

Someone else has 12 in their 20 gal... Its in their signature, so maybe 6 would even work!
