I have a question:
I'm going to pick up another tank today, it's a 10 gallon with a hood & light plus a stand, from another freecycle member. I really want to put Skai and Ember in it until the babies get big enough and need an extra tank. Ember's tail has not grown back completely, but his fin rot is finally gone. His tail is completely smooth at the end and not ragged. Should I keep him by himself in the 3 gallon until his tail grows back completely? Or do you think it's alright to split this new tank with Skai?
Note: when the fry are old enough, I will be putting half of them in this new tank. I'll be putting Ember and Skai back in what they're in now until I sell the babies. Then when I sell all the babies, I'll be putting Skai and Ember back in it, lol and probably one of the fry I keep. Opinions

I think if his fin rot is treated and your waiting for the regrowth he should be fine in the split tank.

Yay! lol. I feel so bad keeping him in the 3 gallon bowl with no light or anything. So I guess I'll just see how it goes.

I know, my split 5 gal, has no light or lid because I got it from someones yard for free. Ill show you a picture. I dont think another tank was supposed to go where I put this one. I kinda want to move it to my room, so it can get some light. Ill post a picture in a minute. Also I may be going to get a crowntail and some decorations later today.

Here is the picture of my stacked aquarium. The top is my 10 gal cory tank. It will be planted as soon as I can see Byron.
The bottom is my split 5 gal, with moon and another one coming shortly. I know both tanks arent decorated heavilty. However Moon maybe having some dinosaur friends this afternoon!



And I already found the next place for either my 10 gal sorority, and another 10 gal tank for way future breeding or maybe just one big tank.!

Ember and Skai won't have much in their tank. Most of my plants are in the baby's tank. So Ember will have a cave and Skai will have a plant, and maybe a shell or two until I get some money for some plants and stuff. So the tank will be pretty bare.

yes I need to go get some caves and plants. at least im not the only one with kinda bare tanks. Ill post again once i redecorate!
