That's a good idea. Aigis seems to have calmed down a bit and I have to go take care of my baby cousin now. But if she gets aggressive again I will try that out.

maybe u have a gay fish lol,just kidding, my dominant female flares at the other girls all the time and tries to attack them so she has had to go on the roster system in the boys tank :( well...it her own fault if she played nice she could be out with the other kids :)

Anyway, to update:

Last night I put Lolita in the breeding trap during feeding and kept her their overnight because I was worried about her. I put the Java fern in their and she seemed quite happy. Bambi seemed eager to join her.

This morning Aigis seems to have calmed down. She sees the other girls but doesn't chase them nearly as much as she did yesterday. She mostly ignores them. Bambi is still scared and swims away whenever she sees her. The green one is still swimming around and minding its own business. Right now I'm seeing that Lolita is getting quite close to her a few times. The green one doesn't mind.

Seems like things are looking up!
