Filter reccomendation

I just upgraded to a 10G, but the filter caused quire the current in the tank, and the poor girl was doing her best salmon impersonation, so I took a Tetra Whisper 3i out of her 1.5G tank I had her in and put that in, and she is much happier.

My question, is the 3i too small to filter my 10G, or do i need to replece it, and if so, what do you recommend that is not too hard to change filters, not to mention too powerful. Quiet is a plus too.
