I have a submersible, aqueon quiet flow filter in my tank. I have a stocking covering the intake so my betta's fins won't get shredded (this happened to my previous betta). This is working well, but I have noticed that the water will get a bit cloudy a few days before a water change. I changed his water yesterday, and it's already started to get a tad cloudy
The parameters are all normal Nitrate= 0, Nitrate= 0, Ammonia= 0, PH= 7.6 (it's a little high, I know). So, can cloudy water harm a betta fish? If not, I'd rather leave the stocking on because I don't want his fins to get hurt.
