Pellets are more balanced and generally healthy for bettas. A variety (including frozen/live and pellets) is best, and pellets are less risky. I doubt there is a huge danger of feeding solely frozen foods, but I would definatly try to get the majority of the diet to be a high quality pellet.

Agree with Matt. I will also add that Hikari has a better rep for the bloodworms than SFBB. IMO they have a much better process to rid parasites and load up the bloodworms with vitamins thus making them slightly more expensive.

Hi feed mine twice a day with one off day a week, in the morning I feed him thawed hikari frozen bloodworms and then in the evening NLS.
