Need help!

My Veiltail, Yel, he's acting weird, i don't know if he's sick or not. Here's my setup, 2.5 gallon tank, he's alone in there, with gravels, sponge filter and a live plant. Yel is always in the bottom of the tank, and he doesn't eat, that made me worried, but he's pretty fast when im trying to catch him. and when i caught him i tried to put him (in a cup) next to my other bettas, and he's flaring. to make it short, i think he's healthy, but then he doesn't eat, he's diet is always pellet, then i tried giving him flakes and nothing. please help!

thank you guys! well i tried putting stress coat, and lowered the airflow in the tank, and he eats again, finally relieved. he's just stress because of the strong current the sponge makes, and now he's okay, thank you bettafish.com
