New fish tank!!!

I'm so excited!!! I'm going to pick up a 40 gallon tank/stand with everything I need(filter, heater, light and pump). I'm thinking of moving my sorority to the 40 gallon and making the 20 gallon into a corydora tank! So now I'm left with a empty 10 gallon . Also how many girls can I have in a 40 gallon?

This is a picture of the tank I'm getting. Is it a 40 tall?

I don't think I can sleep I'm so excited lol

congrats. I love corydora catfish tanks. Have a 10 gal. Definitely need a bigger one! They are a lot of fun.

CONGRATULATIONS!! Perhaps around 20 girls in a 40 gallon although I'm not familiar with sorority tanks by any means. How many do you have in your 20 gallon? You could probably safely double the number if you do it slowly since the tank is twice the size.

Yeah I would start out with maybe 10 girls, and slowly add more. Unless you're ready, then you could add about 20 or so.
