seperating my fry

i know its about time to seperate my fry, in two days they will 8 weeks. but honestly half of them are still tiny, you have to search to see them and the bigger ones are only half the size of guppies, they will only eat brine shrimp still and show no aggression. i was wondering should i wait or seperate them?

if there isnt any aggression, just let them be. you can always jar them one at a time when you notice nipping.

Or you can separate the big ones from the small ones.

Yeah I agree with them. I wouldn't separate until you see signs of agression. If you can tell some males apart from females, I would start jarring males, but only if you can separate a few of them, because when you separate they need to see the others separated so they don't get depressed. But if there isn't any aggression, then I woudn't. But if you want to separate the larger ones from the smaller ones you could.

speaking of aggression, i notice some of my bigger guys horse-playing. theres some push and shove going on, but nothing too serious. its quite entertaining to watch.

lol nothing too aggressive with mine. But then again, I only have about 10 fry lol. I'm sure I"ll see some aggression with the next batch.

okay cool cool. i have about 30 fry i think. i see no agression at all. but ill do the jaring one by one.

just wondering,how do you keep the jars at a decent temp? im going to have to jar mine soon and im scared they will get cold :) atm ive got two males in glasses sitting in the tank but i cant sit lyk 25 glasses in ther!!! lol
