Unhappy My all white male beta is sick, please help

My beloved Clous is suffering from tail rot or something. I have him in a 1gal. Tank and have been treating him with stress coat and aquarium salt for four days with 100% water changes everyday. He does not seem to be getting better. His tank is heated to 80degress and I have added an almond leave to his tank to relieve stress. Is there more I can do?

Your betta seems to be tail biting to me, he doesn't have rot. Here is a good post about it.

Btw, sometimes plastic plants can also rip fins so maybe you should consider silk plants!

Make sure to change his water at least every 3 days so his fins doesn't get infected. Keep using stress coat but he doesn't need the aq. salt forever.

He's beautiful. I agree with darkangel, doesn't look like fin rot. You can test your plastic plants with pantyhose or something similar, just drag the hose over the plants, if it snags then your Bettas fins will snag. Any silk plants will usually do, they don't have to say Betta on them.

I Thank you, I bought him the silk plants and put them in his tank after his water change. Hope he starts to show some regrowth.
