Dollar Store

I'm taking a trip to the dollar store to get some rubber bands for shipping, and a turker baster thing to clean my tank more efficiently.

I'm curious to know what are some things I can get at the dollar store to use in my aquarium, or to use as aquarium equipment. Anything really. :)

I have a 10 gallon

one male betta, and will be getting some cories soon.

I got some of those little glass stones to use in a tank. They're half as expensive as the ones at the pet store and they're twice as big! :)

I keep plastic disposable cups around for moving fish and water changes. q-tips for feeding worms to the babies, 1 gallon storage containers with lids-can never have too many of those.

1 gallon ziplock bags, those come in handy, I keep all the things I use to clean my tank with in those. Great for keeping all your fish supplies in and they are cheaper at the dollar store. Have fun shopping

Ceramic coffee cups make good hidey caves. They might also have silk plants that you could use for decor, if they pass the "not scratchy or wirey" test.

There's lots of stuff in the dollar store, but what comes to mind for me is marbles to decorate the bottom of the tank. And the Dollar store tends to have those cute little statues, they could be some good decoration.

You can find a lot good stuff and great deals at Dollar stores. The dollar store concept has become a well-known one. The store is experimenting with drugs at one of its subsidiary locations. Time will tell if the notion of dollar store pharmacies can catch on. Find out more: Dollar stores.
