new to this help !!!

Fish is happy, he is male. just changed his tank yesterday and he is blowing those happy bubbles at the surface of the tank every time I come into the room. His fins are looking as if they are shedding though and it's making me worried. he eats perfectly fine and swims around contently. Please help ! I don't know if i should be doing something different or not... there is a picture attached as well to show you .

Is there white fuzzy stuff at the ends of his fins? If so, it could be a bacterial infection called Columnaris.....

Can you fill out the form below, so that we have more information? Answer what you can. Leave anything else blank.

What size is your tank?
What temperature is your tank?
Does your tank have a filter?
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration?
Is your tank heated?
What tank mates does your betta fish live with?

What type of food do you feed your betta fish?
How often do you feed your betta fish?

How often do you perform a water change?
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change?
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change?

Water Parameters:
Have you tested your water? If so, what are the following parameters?

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed?
How has your betta fish's behavior changed?
When did you start noticing the symptoms?
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how?
Does your fish have any history of being ill?
How old is your fish (approximately)?

He could be tail biting, but that's if he's agitated. Is there anything you may be doing to make him mad? Mine was tail biting because he didn't like the current from th filter, so I had to make a baffler. If he can see another betta that could be it also.

And here's another thing I think it could be: are there any sharp plants in the tank? Like ones with spines or whatever? Even if they don't seem that sharp, betta fins are a single cell thick, so it doesn't take much to tear them. If so, try just removing it for a while, and see if the tearing stops.
