Oh man oh man peer pressure. If he's still there on monday then it was meant to be and I'll take him home. My husbands birthday is on Sunday, he just said "you better not be getting me a fish!!" Hahaha

They are just so dang cute and so easy to collect and care for! This drive has inspired me to write a poem called Betta Betta everywhere! LOL

I have a crazy busy weekend ahead...i have a spare 1/2 gal at home, would it be mean to keep him in that for a couple days until I can get his permanent 2.5 gal or larger set up? Probably not right, since its an upgrade from the store cup?

Definitely not! As long as you can do some sort of water change for him at least every other day he'll be totally fine!

No! I've gotten my grandparents to keep fish in their cups (with very frequent water changes) for ~half a month until they were coming back to Canada... Now they have big, heated tanks all too themselves.
