Best treatment for fin rot?

I've been using Jungle Fungus Clear and it's working slowly on my first two and it seems like my other two DT's are getting worse. I'm not sure if the fin rot is more progressive than the first two that have it or if the medicine is making it worse. I'm just curious what everyone uses because this is the first time that I've had to treat my fish for fin rot.

I do salt baths and melafix.
JFC didn't really work for me....

JFC worked for me. That and Maracyn-2 both worked well. You might want to try Maracyn-2 as well.

You should first diagnose what type of fin rot they have.

Fungal fin rot usually eats away the tail in a consistent area, white cottony areas are also usually present at the tips of their fins. JFC is or JFE is the best treatment.

Bacterial fin rot is usually inconsistent and attacks random areas, often making the tail look frayed at the edge or create holes in the fins. For mild cases, you can use Maracyn + Maracyn-two in combination. For more serious cases Tetracycline, Ampicillin and Penicillin may be used.

Water must be kept very clean at all times and salt baths will help a lot.
