Smile Tank update/Need advice

Hey everyone. Well my girlies ( Janice stil excluded) made it through the night beautifully. No injuries, and now they are all kinda hanging out together. LOL. I'm gonna float Janice in a cup or something before trying to add her again. She just thinks she's bigger than she is LOL and tries to take on the bigger girls.
Anyway, I have a question....since putting in the girls...the water seems cloudy now....I have had the filter going for several days now, it seems to be working fine. It's just cloudy almost smokey looking...is this normal? I've never had a heated tank before. Or do I need some more conditioner? Or other chemical? Thanks in advance for all your help!

If you didn't cycle the tank before adding them, then that's probably the ammonia spiking. You'll need to continuously watch the tank from now on because ammonia and later nitrite are toxic to fish. Here's a great thread on cycling that I highly recommend you read:

Thats the beneficial bacteria bloom. The tanks gotta catch up with the bioload that is being unleashed by your little girls. If the tank wasnt cycled its gotta run for a good 9 weeks or so. Mines 5 or 6 weeks in I still have slight cloudiness.

I don't think I cycled it long enough. I used purified water and changed the filter after cycling the empty tank before I put the females in.
They ate all the food i put in. it's not really bad. Is there something I can put in? Or should I just make sure the filter is kept clean and running. Also my filter is the tetra whisper... it says it's for 2-10 gallons. My tank is 10, do I need a bigger filter?
It actually only took like 8 gallons to fill it after the decorations and gravel were added.

Did you do a fishless cycle? Because I thought you had to finish that before adding fish in...

But omg, they look great! Your avi is like a rainbow of females (if the yellow and the green switched places). :D
