I know the feeling about sand (: I'm trying it out for the first time too. It looks REALLY nice if you do it right, but I'm still a little nervous. If it works out, maybe I'll try it in my 55.

I love how it looks but I cant seem to get it flat.. no matter how much I smooth it, it always makes these little peaks lol. Neptune really loves it though, he is always hanging out by his driftwood playing in the sand :)

Another nice thing about the sand is that when uneaten food falls to the bottom they will chase it and eat it cause they can actually see it, its cute :) in Kokomos tank with the gravel any food that falls to the bottom gets lost and has to be siphoned out.
