He scared me to death

I had to take one of my boys out today to fix my divider. When I went to put him back in the tank he fell in the FILTER

After realizing where he had gone I quickly unplugged the filter and snatched it off the side of the tank and dumped it out.

Freddie seems ok. No torn fins or other damage. He is swimming fine and dosn't seem to even care he was just filtered

I will be keeping a close eye on him for the next couple of days but I hope he will be fine. But boy there for a minute I thought he was a goner.. I was so scared.

yeah it really was. He is fine but I was so sure he was being ground up or something. Luckily my filter is the kind that pushes water out of the top so he wasn't being sucked down or anything. He seemed really happy when I let him out. Im sure my other fish was laughing at him and calling him names :D

i hear ya, thats scary..........this morning i was doing my usual weekly wc on my 55 gal sorority. one of my lil ladies got sucked into the aquavac. luckily i caught her immediately and put her back into the tank. funny thing is, she came right back to it when i put it back into the tank to start over. i think she liked it, the lil wackadoo. lol

yeah he is perfectly fine.. he still likes to hang around the filter (i have to put nylon over the intake bc i think his fins will get sucked in). He ate a big treat of bloodworms last night and is his usual self today.

Christina .. thats funny.. this blue fish will probably be the one to get himself vacuumed up.

Thats hilarious. I haven't vacuumed mine yet (I just set it up a week ago) and that was one of the things I was worried about. I was just planning on taking the fish and snails out while I vacuumed it.
