you know whats sad, and i just realized this

Whenever you go to a petsore and look at the fish, theres always a couple dead. And it seems like no ones cares, and the fish is left there to either rot or be eaten by other fish.

But lets say, in same said store, one of the birds, cats, dogs, lizards, any other animal is dead, its a big deal at the store.

That just totally ruined my day =/

Yeah, it IS sad. I've recently been finding dead ones at my Petsmart. I've also found a few with sbd.

ya, my petsmart is terrible tho, they have dead birds, fish, crabs, and lizards..... its gross!

Petsmart is always bad for me... and this other local fish store... they have some amazing fish but they are always in such bad shape, i feel so bad for them.... these 2 double tails were like in yellow water last time i was there, looked like yellow milk... :(

once at the petsmart i found a frog that had died too close to the heat lamp and been forgotten- he was like cooked O_o

I've seen dead fish, but never dead animals. Wait!! I saw a mouse. Poor little guy was almost gone. :(((((

I've never seen a dead animal (other than fish of course >>) at a store. Ugh, I remember the Wal-mart in my home town always had dying/and or dead fish. I'd tell the people that worked in that section, but they didn't seem like they cared....

What's a little sad is that my LFS actually treats their sick fish, but apparently bettas don't count. I went there today, and I saw some very ill looking bettas. Just because they're the "reject" fish doesn't mean they shouldn't be cared for.
