Help!!!

Okay so i have this betta fish and i have had him for year now and i haven't had any problem with him...
but today when i woke up he was just laying on his side in the bottom of the tank.. i felt the water and its freezing....
it got cold all of a sudden here last night so he was fine last night he ate and everything.. but now he doesn't move or anything idk what to do and if he is dead or just to cold to move.... let me know... please.

I think he might have passed away.....but if not, go out and buy a heater right now. What size is your tank? If he's still alive, and if you can, put him in the warmest room in the house where there's no drafts.

I live in a dorm so i put him in my warm closest in a jar with a little bit warmer water... my tank is 1.5 gallons..

I think your betta probably died. Do you see any gill movement at all? If it got cold, he might have froze to death...

For the future, if you ever get a betta again, you need a heater.

Thanks for the info guys. Sadly yes Kappie did die. But I'm going to get a new betta soon and a water heater for the tank. Thanks for the help.
