Cool! I did see a little of the extended version once, but we don't own it yet. My mom wouldn't get it so I've been meaning to get that after I get new medicine for the fishies.

I haven't read much of the books, but I do wish they had ol' Tom Bombadillo in the movies. I would love to meet them, my late uncle looked a LOT like Aragorn.
When I was watching the scene where Boramire gets killed with multiple arrows and kept fighting, I was thinking: "It's only a flesh wound!" from Monty Python. (Please excuse my grammar)

Thats about the only good thing about the movies. No Tom Bombadil.

It's understandable why they left Tom Bombadil out of the movies. Films are very expensive to make and can only be so long, so you can't fit in every side plot and story twist.

:D That's why everyone always says the book is better.

Read and seen it. I love it so much, but the books are far better than the movies. FAR better. The changes to Frodo really hurt.

In the movies, yes. In the books he was a true hero!

I need to read the books again.

My favorites are Boromir, Legolas, Pippin, Aragorn and Faramir
