The last one was lying on the bottom but his color was fine but when I shined flashlight on him he had yellow color on him but didn't see any without flashlight he was lying on his side when he died.

Now my blue one has yellow on it when I shine flashlight on him and his breathing is strange.

And I have another one that also could die anyday I've had Ollie for along time though and his color is really dulled out.

Look at the photo below. The fish has a disease called "Velvet." Do your fish look like this?

Some questions:
1) How big are their tanks?
2) Do you know the water temperature?
3) Do you have heaters in the tanks? (If so, can you adjust the temperature?)
4) How often do you change the water?
5) Do you share equipment between tanks? (Do you use the same equipment in all of their tanks? Or does each fish have his own set?)

Unhappy

It's too late for the one I posted about he ended up going to Heaven but I did have another betta with him divied from him.

2 of my tanks are 2.5 gallons

No heaters

I quiet using filters

I changed the water not that long ago

right now the water temp is 76 but I just turned on my lamp so it should get warmer soon and i'm closing the room door that has ac in it for now

and I also moved my other betta from the tank to a little bowl until I can get information

The one that died was breathing in a strange way and sitting on the bottom and his tail started turning brownish black at the edges and I shined flashlight on him and he had some yellow on him but you couldn't see the yellow without the flashlight.

Please help me figure out what's going on so I can save my others from the same fate!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your Broken Hearted And Very Puzzled Fishy Friend

I would do a series of partial water changes. This will help remove any toxins or bacteria that's in the water. Here is one way to do this:
  1. Note the temperature of his tank water.
  2. Fill a 1 gallon container with water at the same temperature as his tank. Add conditioner!
  3. Remove about 25% of his tank water. Replace it with the new water.
  4. Wait about 15 to 30 minutes. Then do another 25% water change.
  5. Wait about 15 to 30 minutes. Then repeat all the steps above again. At the end, you'll have done a total of 4 partial water changes.

Let us know how he's doing after you've finished the water changes.

Can you post a photo of him? A picture would be very helpful.

76 is too cold and without a biological filter, there is a good chance this is ammonia-related as it is the top killer of fish. You need to test tank water at the point in which you would normally do a water change...if ammonia is too high, then you need to change more often and get biological filtration.

Essentially there is very little that can be done safely for an unhealthy fish if water parameters are not known.
